The Registration Fee is calculated to cover the anticipated hotel and other necessary charges on a neutral-sum principle. Invited speakers, students, and young researchers are expected to pay the regular fee of US$ 650 on registration before the deadline. Attempts are however being made to secure sponsorship, and if these are successful, or if there is a surplus in the account, financial support will be given to this category of participants through reimbursement.
Should any student or young
researcher need such kind of assistance, please contact the Secretariat.
Another possible way to cut down expenses is to share a hotel room with a fellow student. The hotel provides guest rooms for double occupancy, and the room rates states in the Accommodation Reservation Form apply to a room, not to a person. Triple occupancy is also possible at an extra cost of HK$ 300 per night per room. If you need assistance in finding a roommate to share a room with, please contact the Secretariat.
